## Seal AI Private

Sealmetrics' EU-hosted, platform-managed AI for [LENS](/lens) — no API key needed, no prompt retention, processed entirely in the EU.

**Note:**
Instead of (or alongside) Seal AI Private, you can connect your **own** Anthropic, OpenAI, DeepSeek, or Gemini API key. With BYOK your AI usage is billed directly by that provider and Sealmetrics does not meter it. See [LLM Providers](/platform/settings/llm).

## Frequently Asked Questions

### Do I pay Sealmetrics extra for AI usage?

Only if you use **Seal AI Private** (the managed EU provider): it's a paid add-on on Growth and included in Scale/Enterprise, with a 5M token/month quota and optional token packs. If you use **your own LLM key (BYOK)** instead, Sealmetrics doesn't charge or meter anything — your usage is billed by your provider.
